Tatting Box

This is a commissioned piece that will be 35" when it's done. So who will journey with me till I get to 35". 

Sometimes designing tatting is a trial and error. Its in your head, but you cannot get the count right. You try and try again. 7 times and more but just not quite right. Its an easy pattern but yet, the count has to be perfect, the beads has to complement the design and not overshadow the tatting, it has to sit nice on the neck and finally, I got it! Now what am I going to do with the rest? Well, what do you all think of the final product?

A very simple pattern. But it showcases the elegance of tatting. Do you know the meaning of bindle? Yes, bindle is a word. Does this look like a bindle?

Two-shuttle project. The weaving of the chains is done after the tatting. Wonder if I can do one with 5 rings?

Do you see 4 hearts in each earrings? You can use a metal ring in the middle or just start with a tatting ring in the middle.
